Iowa Techniques Announces the Release of its New Assembly Conveyor!
Dateline October 3, 2008, Hutto, Texas — Iowa Techniques, the unique products people, announces it’s launch of it’s most unique product to date, the Iowa Techniques Assembly Conveyor.
“Eliminate redundancy! This one-of-a-kind dynamic solution automates your assembly process and is an affordable option for all cleaners, boasting a cost savings of almost 50% in comparison to competitors. It is so efficient you will be able to shift key staff to more productive areas or even eliminate positions altogether. With this technology, you will minimize errors by electronically tracking garments and assembling orders, since tagging and check-in is done at the same time. It is so detailed in the data provided, we should have called it the “Assembly Management System.” said Matt Kool, President of Iowa Techniques. This new conveyor, formed as a solution for cleaners that cannot afford its’ Italian counterpart, is already the buzz in the industry, bolstering numerous pre-orders.
“You wouldn’t start a route service using a Ferrari to drop off the clothes,” said Kool. “It just doesn’t make sense to do that. Sure, it’s fun to drive, but its’ design is not specific to that purpose. There is no difference in that comparison and the comparison between our product and our competitors. When we saw the mid-level cleaner hurting themselves to try and take on a piece of equipment they knew they needed for their stores, we had to step in and make an affordable option.” Matt said, “The Iowa Techniques Assembly Conveyor is truly unique. It is nearly half the cost of other assembly conveyors and almost half the space. We are really excited to take this to market.” Kool went on to say that the Assembly Conveyor also had some interesting characteristics such as its friction drive, making the equipment considerably quieter, and the tracking system that is so easy to learn, anyone can do it. Truly, this is a product that cleaners can’t afford not to buy.
“It has saved us time. And time, as they say, is money. But it is also saving us money, since I need less staff to do the laundry and dry cleaning. So what do you call that?” said Ben Evans of Ben Evans Cleaners in Waco, TX. “I call it money in my pocket. It is a win, win, win situation. I can see that this piece of equipment is going to save me thousands in the long run, and is speeding up processing and accuracy in assembly. When you only need one person to assemble orders, you reduce the risk of operator error. You can also boost production, since I have reallocated assemblers to areas of my shop that need more help. It is simply amazing!”
“We are so thankful to Ben Evans for letting us use him as the test case in our soft launch. He has been simply amazing. We look forward to launching the Assembly Conveyor at our show in Atlantic City later this month.” Kool said
